Impact Measurement for Entrepreneurs and Investors
Impact Investing goes well beyond avoiding harm and managing ESG risks. In contrast to traditional investing, impact investing entails the challenge of measuring both the financial impact as well as the societal and environmental results. For those aiming to get involved in impact investing, it is of key importance to understanding how to build in impact measurement mechanisms from the start.
In this community of practice session, we will look at different tools and techniques of impact measurement. As a basis for measuring impact, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are explored to see how they can be employed for key performance indicators (KPI) in impact investing. A case study will be examined together with the participants. Together, enriched by the diverse background and expertise of participants, the subject matter is examined.
