InnMind and Scale Network welcome you to join our meetup in Bern on February 20th 2019 at the ImpactHub Bern.
During the meetup we will cover the following topics:
🔘 1. "Hello future: The trust layer of the Internet" by Roland Ringgenberg from Hedera Hashgraph
The Hedera Hashgraph Platform provides a new form of distributed consensus; a way for people who don't know or trust each other to securely collaborate and transact online without the need for a trusted intermediary. The platform is lightning fast, fair, and secure and, unlike some blockchain-based platforms, doesn’t require compute-heavy proof-of-work. Hedera enables and empowers developers to build an entirely new class of decentralized applications that were never before possible.”
🔘 2. “Decentralised public blockchain and fully open source cryptocurrency project” by Matthias Fitzi from Cardano
Cardano is a decentralised public blockchain and cryptocurrency project and is fully open source. Cardano is developing a smart contract platform which seeks to deliver more advanced features than any protocol previously developed. It is the first blockchain platform to evolve out of a scientific philosophy and a research-first driven approach. The development team consists of a large global collective of expert engineers and researchers.
🔘 3. “Distributed Systems, Blockchain and the Crypto Market” presented by Artur Aslanyan from CryptoNDX
Artur Aslanyan, CEO & Co-founder of CryptoNDX, is a serial entrepreneur, blockchain speaker & tech enthusiast. He has a background in chemical and nuclear engineering from the University of Toronto and has held a couple of executive roles at tech startups. He was involved in blockchain technology in early 2018 as the lead of CMIU (Crypto Market Intelligence Unit) a special task force created by the Ministry of Finance of RA and Jurisdiction Armenia.
CryptoNDX is a crypto registry on a mission to make the cryptomarket data-driven instead of hype-driven. Our registry centralizes, analyzes, and visualizes cryptomarket information so it is more accessible to the public. We provide technological, economical and security insights on the market, which saves hours of research and integrations before concluding a comprehensive overview of the market.
