Speak at industry events

People that speak at live events tend to be perceived as leaders or experts in their industry. Try to apply for relevant speaking opportunities where you can also network with others. The more people you know, the more authority you build.  

Establishing yourself as an authority doesn’t happen overnight. It will require commitment, focus, different strategies, and a bit of trial and error.
